Subscriptions create perverse incentives. When revenue depends on keeping you hooked, apps become slot machines designed for engagement. One-time purchases let us build tools that respect your time and autonomy.
We don't need venture capital or exponential growth. Our business model is simple: build great software, charge a fair price, earn customer trust. That's how software worked for decades before surveillance capitalism.
Our apps use iCloud (via CloudKit) for seamless sync across your devices. You sign in once with your Apple ID, and your data syncs securely using Apple's end-to-end encryption. Your data never touches our servers. It's encrypted on your device and only you hold the keys.
Correct. Critical security patches are strongly recommended, but you decide when and if to update. We won't remotely disable features or brick your software. When you buy it, you own it.
Currently macOS and iOS, with plans for Windows and Android. We build for one platform at a time, doing it right before expanding. Quality over quantity.
We can't predict the future, but our business model is sustainable. No burn rate, no investors demanding 10x returns, no pressure to sell out. We're building a craft business, not a unicorn.
